Achievers: Essay winners announced for weeklong citizenship program

Local winners have been announced for an essay contest conducted by the National Patriotic Service Committee of The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America.

Winners of the contest receive full scholarships to attend a session of The Washington Workshops Congressional Seminar in Washington, D.C., which will be June 22-28.
