High school football: Midwest City holds off Carl Albert’s rally

BY SCOTT WRIGHTMIDWEST CITY — Just as they started to feel like they were going to blow out their crosstown rivals, Midwest City players instead found themselves in a dogfight to the final seconds.
Kobe Love, who had hardly been able to practice all week because of an illness, sacked Carl Albert quarterback Braxton Dickerson on the final play of the game to seal Midwest City's 28-21 win over the Titans on Friday night at Rose Field.
Bomber quarterback Brendan Brown hit a streaking Juwan Walker for a 71-yard touchdown on the first snap of the second half to give Midwest City a 28-0 lead.Read more on NewsOK.com
