Thompson accounts for seven touchdowns in Southmoore win

BY MURRAY EVANS For The OklahomanMOORE — The offensive numbers Southmoore quarterback Casey Thompson posted Friday night against Westmoore boggle the mind: 342 yards passing, 429 yards of offense and seven touchdowns accounted for, all against a quality Class 6A opponent.
Only a sophomore, Thompson put on a performance for the ages in the Southwest Showdown as the SaberCats rolled to a 48-21 win at Moore Schools Stadium.
Southmoore (2-0), ranked fifth in Class 6A-I, didn't clinch the Moore city championship – a date with Moore High School awaits in a couple of weeks – but Thompson played a major role as the SaberCats ended a two-game losing streak to Westmoore (1-1), which is ranked ninth in 6A-I.

Kobe Love, who had hardly been able to practice all week because of an illness, sacked Carl Albert quarterback Braxton Dickerson on the final play of the game to seal Midwest City's 28-21 win over the Titans on Friday night at Rose Field.
