Oklahoma City swimming pools, spraygrounds open for 2019 season

There are two main aquatic centers that opened Saturday — Will Rogers and Earlywine aquatic centers.
Once there were numerous pools in neighborhoods across the city, but pools were closed and spray grounds opened over the last few decades.
Oklahoma City parks records show the first swimming pool the city opened was in 1910 when a wading pool opened at Winans Park, NW 22 and N Broadway Ave.

Swimming pools, spray grounds, splash pads and water slides are open again in Oklahoma City for the 2019 summer season.
