OSU football: Knee injuries force Tracin Wallace to retire

On the turf of Boone Pickens Stadium in April, Tracin Wallace stood in street clothes as he watched the crowd swarm around his twin brother after Oklahoma State’s spring football finale.

The smile on his face was as big as usual, even as he discussed the strong consideration he was putting into stepping away from football.

On Thursday, Wallace — the brother of Tylan, the OSU star receiver — officially announced his retirement on Twitter, nine months after his third ACL injury, resulting in four knee surgeries since his junior year of high school.

“I’m sad to say that I can no longer continue to play the game I love,” Tracin Wallace posted on Twitter.
