Testimony about death of former OU linebacker kicks off testimony in Day 2 of opioid trial

Box testified that his son, Austin Box, suffered several painful injuries while playing football for the University of Oklahoma, including a herniated disc during his last year as a player.
But the father said he didn't know his son had turned to taking opioid drugs until they were found in his system following his sudden unexpected death in 2011.
