A tornado warning was issued for parts of Kingfisher and Canadian counties Sunday afternoon, and overnight storms left power outages and damage in central Oklahoma.

The warning expired at 2:45 p.m., but a severe thunderstorm warning remained in effect Sunday afternoon, the National Weather Service reported.

Possible tornadoes were reported near Okarche, and sirens sounded in El Reno where people sought shelter who had been attending a fundraiser concert for May 25 tornado victims that was taking place Sunday afternoon at the Denny Crump Rodeo Arena on N Country Club Drive.
